The Indiana Arborist Association’s Registered Arborist Apprenticeship Program is a three‑year, paid training opportunity designed for individuals pursuing a career in arboriculture. The program is available to residents of Lake, Porter, LaPorte, and St. Joseph counties in Northwest Indiana, as well as Marion County in Central Indiana. Participants receive hands‑on experience, professional instruction, and a structured pathway to becoming a skilled arborist. All training time is paid and includes the mentorship of an ISA certified arborist. At the end of the program, apprentices will be eligible to sit for the International Society of Arboriculture’s Certified Arborist Exam.
